It can be mounted using a rod, bolt, shackle or on a custom mounting. Fixed eye blocks can be used for wire rope, fibrous rope or nylon. In most applications, Block Division’s blocks offer the ability for the swivel eye, swivel hook and fixed eye to be interchanged. Block Division’s blocks are finished with zinc electroplating, which offers corrosion resistance and is an excellent finish for both indoor and outdoor use. Block Division also offers our fixed eye blocks in a stainless steel finish. This type of steel is normally required for use in the food and beverage industry. It is also an excellent kind of product that is used in applications with extreme exposure to dust, chemicals or environmental (such as salt water). Block Division offers a snatch pin option in which the center fastener (clevis) has a removable cotter pin which lends access to the internal components (sheaves, steel spacers, bushings or bearings) of our Blocks. Having access to these components allows the user to inspect, maintain and possibly replace any of the internal components, thereby enhancing the life of the Block of your choice.
