WORKING LOAD LIMIT
 

BLOCK DIVISION, INC. has established the capacity at which our products may be used. Pulleys and Sheaves are randomly selected and tested using an outside accredited testing laboratory. This may be defined as the working load limit. The working load limit is the maximum load in pounds which should be applied. When the load is applied uniformly and in direct tension to a straight section of wire rope. When changing the degree of angle, this also affects the stress on the block.
